I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and attended college at the University of Tennessee. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance. I began learning the piano at the age of eight and began to serve on my church worship team at the age of sixteen. I became a born again follower of Jesus Christ at the age of fifteen, and subsequently fell in love with musical worship. During my studies at the University of Tennessee, I developed a passion for the Word of God and began to write and compose songs for corporate worship based on the Scriptures I read. The Book of Psalms resonated particularly with me as I began to study the songs and music that the Holy Spirit wrote through certain men. Since then, my life has been dedicated to leading others in glorifying God through musical worship and teaching others how to make music and musically worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
I relocated from Knoxville, Tennessee to Orlando, Florida in June of 2019 and began privately teaching piano in 2021. I also provide freelance performance accompaniment services throughout the greater Orlando area. I provide music services for weddings, banquets, and special conventions. I currently serve as a worship team pianist and contributing songwriter at my home church Calvary Chapel Orlando, where I have attended since my move from Tennessee.
I have a passion to discipline the next generation in the Word of the Lord in order that they may truly come to know personally the Lord of the Word, and I believe one of the most powerful and effective ways to do that is through the wonderful gift from God that is music. I have a passion for teaching piano, music theory, and how God can be seen in and how God relates to us through music. By learning music, we learn about who God is as the Master Artist of the universe, and thus we are inspired to worship Him even more passionately
