JCI HQ perspective
He was born in Asunción, Paraguay, on March 10th, 1979. He has a Business Administration and Accounting mayor and a post graduate on university didactics from the Catholic University of Asunción. For the past 14 years, he was head professor of the “Management and Leadership” course for the Business Administration mayor at the same university. He speaks English, French and Portuguese and is a certified English translator. He has worked in organizations such as IBM, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Asunción Convention & Visitors Bureau. Joined JCI World Headquarters as JCI Growth and Development Director for the Americas in 2007. In 2010, he occupied the position of JCI Events Director until December 2014. Since then, he has been working as Executive Director of Growth and Development. He supervises the four Area Directors as well as the Events Department (JCI Events handle an average of between 12.000 to 18.000 delegates per year, depending on the destinations of the events, which take place all over the world).
He joined JCI Asunción in 1998, passing through various local offices and in 1999 selected as the Best New Member of the Americas. He was Local President of JCI Asunción and National Vice President of JCI Paraguay. Participated at the 19th JCI Academy in Matsue/Takamatsu in 2006. Joined JCI World Headquarter staff in October 2007. He has been giving training sessions on numerous topics all around the world since he joined JCI until today.

​Ismail Haznedar joined the Local Organization of JCI Avrasya (Eurasia) in 2005. He became Local President in 2008 and received Most Outstanding Turkish Local President of the Year. He served as JCI Turkey National President in 2010 when he received Special Recognition from the JCI President at the 2010 JCI World Congress in Osaka, Japan. Ismail Haznedar was elected 2015 JCI President at the 2014 JCI World Congress in Leipzig, Germany.
At the international level, Ismail served as JCI Vice President in 2011, UN Affairs Commissioner in 2012, 2013 Chief Executive Assistant to the President (with an award from the President as Leader of the Most Outstanding Team of Appointees) and 2014 Executive Vice President (with an award from the President as Most Outstanding Executive Vice President) where he served as Chairperson of the JCI Area Conference in Valletta, Malta. He served as 2016 JCI Senate Chairman.
He has been honored as JCI Senator No. 69159 and is a Phil Pugsley Patron of the JCI Foundation. He is Foundation Member and Certified National Trainer (CNT). He has attended nineteen JCI Area Conferences, nine JCI World Congresses and five JCI Global Partnership Summits.
Ismail Haznedar is strategist and business consultant, with a successful professional experience in scale-up projects of SMEs and growth strategy consultancy. Presently he is the Managing Director of Stratejik Isler, a consultancy company focusing on growth strategy, business development and strategy execution. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Fellow Member of Strategic Planning Society (SPS).

He was JCI World Congress 2005 Vienna Logistic Director.
He was a participant of the very first COC Academy in 2005 and has been KHT trainer every year since 2006.
Michael was also COC Academy Director in 2010 and 2011.

 

Mikael Wänskä

Mikael has over 20 years of experience participating in different kind of associations and
public positions of responsibility, where he has been creating new, developing existing
and disbanding old.
Since 2011 he has worked as Project Manager at Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd, second largest
trade fair company in Finland. It is in his responsibility to manage existing and new events from
idea all the way to the final feedback. One event can take years to build and multiple events are
produced simultaneously. Currently he is working with eight events from various fields of industry.
To JCI Mikkeli he joined back in 2002 and to JCI Tampere in 2008.
