Deniz Senelt

JCI Certified International Trainer (ITF #091)

Deniz Senelt joined Junior Chamber International back in 1998. Being a member in New York, Vienna and Istanbul she served in many officer positions, including board memberships and as Local President. She also took Director responsibilities at the COCs of the 2002 European Conference and the 2007 World Congress.

Deniz is JCI Senator # 68236 and was awarded as the Most Outstanding Trainer in 2006.

So far Deniz trained in 23 JCI countries and she is known with her training titled “LeaderMind” that she delivered at several Congresses and Conferences. After being the Head Trainer of the JCI Prime Course, she worked at the designing teams of the JCI Trainer and JCI Designer. She was certified Head Trainer for JCI Presenter, JCI Trainer, JCI Designer, JCI Admin and JCI Achieve. Deniz was four times member of the JCI European Academy’s Trainer Team and was the Head Trainer of JCI European Academy in 2013. He is the Head Trainer of Future Leaders Academy 2014 by JCI Norway and the Head Trainer of Project Management Academy in 2013 and 2014 by JCI Russia.

Having been a participant of the JCI COC Academy in 2007, she became there also a trainer in 2008 and its Head Trainer in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

In her daily business life Deniz Senelt has been the training manager of the well-known fashion retail company, Vakko, and then she broke new grounds and took the way JCI shows by becoming an entrepreneur and running her own training, coaching and consultancy company, ProAkademi (www.proakademi.com.tr).

She is a frequent author of the HR Magazine and also published at Toastmaster Magazine and Personal Excellence Magazine and a returning speaker and panelist at the Annual International Conference of the ASTD (American Society for Training and Development), speaking 8th time in 2014, in Washington DC, USA.

Besides all that Deniz is also doing her graduate studies in Cognitive Psychology at the prestigious Bosphorus University. She is specialized in public speaking, communication, presentation techniques, leadership, customer relations, sales management, teambuilding, goal setting and coaching trainings.

Elena Leontyeva


Dear COC Academy participants.
My name is Elena and I am the trainer of the Academy from the most beautiful and cultural city of Russia St. Petersburg. My chapter is JCI St. Petersburg.
It’s great honor to be invited and hope we’ll spend fantastic days with you teaching each other and having great time!

JCI history
Elena is one of the founders of JCI St. Petersburg, the most active JCI chapter in Russia. She was the local president in 2011 and she is the honorary member from 2013. Elena was the outdoor trainer on European Academy in Goteborg in 2013.

Professional history
Elena has 6 years experience in project and event management. She is the executive manager of local, national and international business, educational, cultural and corporate projects in Russia. Also she is making trainings professionally on business and self-development skills.

Karl Johan Svendsen


Karl Johan Svendsen is an energetic and motivated person that loves development. He loves to develop himself and others. When he attends trainings he makes sure to immerse himself in the training and participate completely. He often shares from his experiences in life and uses them to explain the topic to be discussed.

Karl Johan joined Junior Chamber International in 2012, after being indirectly involved in through other associated organizations for years. He quickly became heavily involved in the organization and served as Executive Vice President for JCI Drammen in 2013. In 2014 he served as the Local President for JCI Drammen. During his year of presidency he worked hard to create a strong chapter with strength to grow in the coming years.

Since 2012 Karl Johan has been running his own consultancy company where he does business coaching, develops business ideas and acts as a project manager. During 2014 he was the project manager for the building of three concrete batching plants in Togo and Ghana.

Karl Johan is a curios person and always wants to learn more and to share of his knowledge. He was awarded as the trainer of the year in 2014 for JCI Drammen. The last five years he has acted as a daily trainer for his kids and truly loves showing them new things. His oldest daughter attended his first JCI training with him, on stage. Now he is looking forward to taking the role as Immediate Past President and training the coming JCI Drammen board, and coordinating all the IPPs in Norway.
